African Krobo Bead Earrings, Copper Wire Wrap Colorful Glass and Semiprecious Stone Earrings

A pair of African Krobo bead earrings copper wire wrapped onto rustic hand forged copper triangles are decorated with colorful semiprecious stones. Powder glass beads from Africa are handmade by artisans following a long historical tradition. The summery colors in the striped glass cylinders inspired my choices of accent stones. Red jasper, white quartz, blue sodalite, and green chrysoprase pick up all but one of the colors in the African bead focal. I fabricated a triangular frame from copper wire that holds the large cylindrical powder glass bead at the bottom. Two slanted lines dotted with small round stone beads are securely wrapped to the copper frame. Fresh and colorful and full of honest rustic handcrafted elements, these African glass bead earrings are perfect for summer wear.
