Curlicue Silver Earrings with Campitos Turquoise, Genuine Turquoise Drop Earrings in Whimsical Minimalist Style

These curlicue silver earrings are adorable adornments you'll love to wear. Minimalist jewelry often brings to mind geometric, spare designs “clean” lines. For these earrings I set out to add a bit of whimsy to see how that fit the theme. 

These 20 gauge sterling silver wire threaders are short drop earrings with a turquoise pebble captured on the wire... with a twist (literally). I coiled the drop of the ear wires in an open spiral or helical coil. There are only one or two twists of the wire, but it changes the look in a big way. Now there’s a hint of motion to these petite non-dangling earrings that is simply fun.  

This pair features approximately 8-9mm flat, rounded pebbles of Mexican mined Campitos turquoise. I almost see a heart in the pebble shape, maybe you will too. A smidgen over 1 inch long, each earring weighs 0.9 grams.
