Unusual Charoite Earrings, Purple and Turquoise Blue Stone Earrings in Sterling Silver

Take a look at these unusual charoite earrings. A remarkably varied stone, the pair I selected for these earrings is a wild mix of pale lilac, lavender, wine purple, brown, and black. The purple spots reveal the lovely pearly luster of charoite and hints of feathery patterns in the marbled-look stones.I paired these rustic charoite discs with bright blue turquoise for more unusual and striking contrast.

These earrings are made with charoite rustic heishi discs, about 14mm across. One stone is a bit square in profil, the other more rounded and circular. I used sterling silver wire to wrap the charoite stones, together with a turquoise heishi bead about 3 x 8mm in size. The two stone purple and turquoise blue ornament dangles from my handmade sterling silver ear wires in 20 gauge wire.
