Green Garnet Earrings in a Simple Drop Style

Brassy green stones, slightly translucent, drop from handcrafted copper ear hooks in these simple earrings by Pebbles At My Feet. January birthday? Claim these humble garnet pebbles as your birthstone. They are another example of garnet gemstone related to red garnet. Or perhaps you love the golden green color of these unpretentious stones. There's a place in your everyday jewelry stash for these sweet pebble earrings.

Green garnet pebble earrings at a glance:

  • Tumble polished green garnet stones are about 3/8 icnh in diameter
  • Crafted of pure copper wire then antiqued to an earthy brown
  • Very versatile short drop earring style
  • 1.125 inches long, just under 30mm

The green garnet stones I selected for these earrings are irregular rounded pebbles, about 8-10mm wide by tall. All the stones of the strand are various shades of brownish green. I've heard it described as "seaweed" and if you've seen kelp forests in the Pacific Norwest, you might agree. This particular pair is a little greener, a little paler color than "kelp". It is set to advantage in the dark patina copper and exudes a refined earthiness.

Short earrings with interesting stones and artsy wire touches contrive to make these simple adornments anything but "plain".
