Sterling Silver Wire Earrings with Mexican Turquoise, Open Hoops with Primitive Spiral Design

Here's a pair of sterling silver wire earrings with pretty blue and seafoam Mexican turquoise. These turquoise earrings are an open hoop style with the stones, spiral design, and ear hooks fashioned from a single piece of wire. I call them wire threader earrings and this pair has a bold triangular shape with a row of rustic hand cut Mexican turquoise disks forming the base of the triangle. The spiral holds the stones and gives the earrings a primitive look. These cool earrings are hand formed from .925 silver wire, hammered for texture and rigidity, and polished to a bright silver shine. The turquoise stones and hammered silver spiral will show from the side when you wear these hoop-like earrings.

  • Genuine turquoise natural stone beads
  • Seven discs of turquoise per earring
  • 925 (Sterling) silver wire

  • Earrings measure 0.6875-inch at the base
  • Earrings are 1.25-inches long
  • Mexican turquoise stones average 0.25-inch in diameter

The turquoise I used for these silver earrings comes from a mix of Mexican mined material, mostly from Sonora. If you'd like to learn more about North American turquoise, please read and follow some of the links in my blog here: Mexican turquoise has lovely pastel blue and blue-green colors rivaling the historic favorites from US mines yet with a character all its own.

You will receive the exact pair of earrings pictured. I offer free US shipping via First Class Mail. I can usually ship within a few days of your order. I live, work, and ship your items from rural central Colorado; mail generally takes an extra day to reach you (compared to city-city mail).
