A pair of sterling silver earrings with abstract-texture sterling silver charms and lapis lazuli gemstones. My handmade sterling silver charms were inspired by “jack frost”; the kind of cracked-looking frost that forms on your windows and car windshields on a cold winter night. The sterling silver discs have an all-over pattern of lines and "cracks" hand stamped across their surface. The silver was oxidized, then polished to create shiny silver highlights that cast reflections, distorted by the impressed pattern.

Accented with beautiful faceted round lapis lazuli, these earrings express the brilliant sparkle of ice, icicles, and snow, especially at night under midnight blue skies. Here, with winter snow on the ground, you can easily see with just starlight and truly enjoy a walk or ski under the full moon.
