MATERIALS

Gold filled wire contains 1/20th the gold of equivalent gauge karat gold wire. It consists of a heavy layer of 14 karat gold durably bonded to a brass wire core. Gold filled jewelry can be polished as needed and is a long lasting, affordable alternative to karat gold.
