Yellow Brown and Gray Jasper Earrings on Nickel-Free Ear Hooks, Jasper Dangle Earrings with Venus Jasper, Agate, and Copper

Venus jasper, in gorgeous shades of golden brown and gray, takes center stage in these jasper dangle earrings by Pebbles At My Feet. Large, asymmetrical teardrops of venus jasper look like cracked porcelain or a sketched landscape. Chestnut, yellow brown, and sand colors make the gray veins appear almost blue. I chose a small agate bead in a similar gray tone as the lines in the jasper to highlight it. Hand wired in copper with a rich, dark patina, these jasper dangles swing on niobium ear wires. Niobium is nickel free and safe to wear for women who are sensitive to other jewelry metals.

The yellow brown color of these interesting jasper stones are more than "plain brown" or "neutral". The warm tones are colorful in the way a rocky desert landscape is colorful. I'm often drawn to brown and jasper stones for fall designs, but these stones are great for spring or summer too.
