MATERIALS

I was given the round beige jasper stones, so while I think they are silverleaf jasper, I don't know this for sure. The layered effect in the stones is very similar to strands I purchased as "silverleaf jasper". They are earthy, sandy, but also colorful in a way, and served as the inspiration for these earrings. I paired them with deep blue sodalite all the while thinking about stark shadows, rocky landscapes, and painted deserts.
