Stone Beaded Earrings with Genuine Turquoise, Agate, and Pyrite Stones, Etched Agate "dZi" Bead Earrings

These stone beaded earrings are full of earthy tribal style with etched agate eye beads and rustic cut turquoise and pyrite stone accents. These etched agate dZi bead earrings feature brown agate stone beads with an etched pattern reminiscent of dZi beads of Tibet. It's not surprising that these "mock dZi" beads have the 3 eye pattern, the one most associated with luck, happiness, and longevity or a long life of good fortune. I liked the agate beads for their rustic character and earthy brown colors. Still, the symbolism suggests these tribal style earrings as a thoughtful gift for a birthday or at New Year when we wish good fortune on our loved ones.. 

Agate eye bead and turquoise earrings:

Using sterling silver wire, I strung a beaded stone dangle in this order from top to bottom: a small snakeskin jasper faceted bead, a rustic Mexican turquoise disc, a thin sterling silver disc, the barrel shaped eye bead, another silver disc, and a small pyrite drum. The metallic pyrite is a warmer silver color than the bright sterling silver disks, and more closely matches the dark patina sterling silver wire used to wrap the stones. I hung the stone and silver ornament on nickel-free natural niobium ear hooks in a curvy French hook style that contrasts a bit with the elongated dangle. The brown jasper and agate stones are perfectly accented by the pop of blue turquoise.
