Handcrafted copper dangle earrings boast western flair and cheerful character. These “mountain sun” earrings feature handcrafted diamond shaped copper dangles, textured with western motifs and a mountain sunrise (or sunset, if you happen to be on that side of the mountain).

The rustic copper diamonds form a window for a tiny, faceted carnelian gemstone to dance within. Or perhaps the coin-shaped carnelian gem is the sun itself in your imagination. The orange gemstone and copper ornament dangles beneath a brilliant blue Nacozari turquoise bead with an interesting, twisted shape.

These turquoise earrings measure 2 ¼ inches long from the top of the handcrafted ear hooks. The copper charms are 1-inch-wide point to point.

Made with solid copper wire, solid copper metal, sterling silver wire (for the ear wires), and natural turquoise and carnelian gemstones. Nacozari turquoise was mined in Mexico in the same mountain range and just south of Bisbee, Arizona. The mine is no longer active, so the lovely blue turquoise is becoming increasingly rare. Nacozari turquoise is known for its blue color that is mostly devoid of matrix. It really is the color of western skies!
