Gemstone Charm Bracelet in Rustic Oxidized Sterling Silver, Amazonite and Mother of Pearl Star Bracelet

One of a kind gemstone charm bracelet in pastel aqua, white, and clear hues has an heirloom feel in dark patina sterling silver. The bracelet is themed "Wish Upon A Star" and features pale aqua blue amazonite and creamy white iridescent mother of pearl stars. Other charms include matte rock crystal rounds and amazonite star cut faceted nuggets. The natural stones and mother of pearl shell beads are wired to the chain using varied wrapping styles to create the feeling of charms added over time. Some are on my handmade torched ball headpins, some on wire “knotted” headpins, or spiraled wire wraps.

Since the tradition of wearing charms or trinkets or amulets has its basis in what you might call superstition (wearing a token for good fortune) I made this charm bracelet inspired by the superstition of wishing upon a star. Besides, how cute are these little stone and mother of pearl stars? Who hasn't recited this little poem:

Star light, star bright,

First star I see tonight;

I wish I may, I wish I might

Have the wish I wish tonight.

Constructed entirely in sterling silver, this bracelet is 6 ¾” long. It closes with my handcrafted ¾” long sterling silver hook which is easy to grasp and forms a decorative element too.
