New Items at Pebbles At My Feet

As an artist, my mind is always full of color and design ideas, and my hands are usually busy to bring those to fruition. This often leads to what I call my “listing backlog”. I have a box next to my computer of pieces I’ve made and photographed, that are waiting for copywriting inspiration. I think I know why:

Yes, I also put off my household chores.

The last couple of weeks, I’ve tackled a little of the backlog. I also worked on improving the navigation through my web store. Take a look at my new home page with its visual catalog. Click on the photos to link to and browse my jewelry shop sections. You can still simply click the “Store” tab under the banner to view my full collection.

Here are some new items you’ll find at Pebbles At My Feet.

White lace red jasper pebble earrings

I love finding little stones that display a lot of character. Part of my procraftination activities involve sorting through strands and piles of stone beads and pebbles to find that special pair just right for earrings. I look for stones that display the essence of a particular stone type while expressing their individuality.

Green garnet pebble earrings in copper

Not quite as simple as pebble earrings, these tourmaline earrings are just as easy-to-wear for a little free spirited accessorizing. I chose irregular hand cut stone disks and stacked them in a pleasing color arrangement of pink intensifying toward black. These little tourmaline stone earrings will add a spot of fuschia color to your outfit.

Blue Kyanite Raw Stone Necklace

The satin smooth surface of these unpolished kyanite blades adds another dimension to the design. You’ll find yourself touching these stones, connecting with them on a tactile level. The combination of bright silver and chambray to old denim blue suggest this necklace for summer wear.

In my post, Color Inspirations: Spring in South Park Colorado, I presented a bright green and sky blue palette inspired by new spring growth and brilliant Colorado skies. This long layered necklace is another piece that came from that vision.

I hope you enjoyed this tour of the new section of my jewelry shop. There’s always more to see. Come back soon.
