Here is a woodland inspired necklace with all the shadowy colors and shapes of the forest. A copper wire wrapped prehnite teardrop, the pale green color of dew, hangs from a handcrafted copper chain with twisted vine/branch components framing the pendant. This Art Nouveau-inspired necklace, with its flowing line and nature elements is a one-of-a-kind piece you'll cherish for years to come. MATERIALS

  • Prehnite focal bead and 4 rustic saucers
  • Green kyanite 3mm faceted rounds
  • Rainbow obsidian 3mm faceted rounds
  • Copper wire, various gauges
  • Handcrafted copper components and clasp

I made every component, from the vine link focal, to the wire wrapped gemstone station chain and the hook and eye that bear a natural twig appearance echoing the focal. I chose a prehnite teardrop for the pendant, its watery pale green color and interesting tourmaline inclusions are quite fascinating, like gazing into a miniature terrarium. This stone set the color scheme of shadowy pale green and black, achieved in the chain of the neckpiece with links of 4mm prehnite saucers, and 3mm faceted rounds of green apatite and rainbow obsidian.

Constructed entirely by hand in various gauges of copper wire and natural gemstones. The closure is my handcrafted hook and eye. With a total length of 1 ¼ inch, the clasp is easy to grasp and close at the back of your neck.
