Aquamarine Earrings, Simple Drop Earrings with Blue Gemstones

Beautiful aquamarine earrings are a simple beaded style with ethnic look silver alloy bead caps and my handmade ear wires. Making single stone earrings, at the shorter extreme of length, with captivating details that make them “special” is something that I enjoy. With a simple pair of drop earrings like these, the pretty blue gemstones get a chance in the spotlight.

Aquamarine is one of March's birthstones, making these aquarine earrings a great gift idea for any woman whose birthday is in March. Every woman appreciates small earrings too, so these really are a delight to give or receive.

6x9mm faceted aquamarine rondelles are strung on sterling silver wire that I “knotted” into a floret at the bottom. An antiqued silver alloy beadcap tops the gemstones. My handmade ear wires are 20 gauge sterling silver in a triangular shape that extends the overall taper of these petite earrings all the way to the ear. 

1 5/16 inches long, each earring weighs 1.8 grams.
