Western Style Handmade Copper Earrings with Denim Lapis Natural Stones

These handmade copper and natural stone earrings are infused with the spirit of the west. What is iconic about western style? Denim. There are a few stones I can think of that are a great match for denim: blue kyanite, denim lapis, dumortierite all come to mind. For these earrings I chose denim lapis. Denim lapis is lapis with more white calcite in it than the prized ultramarine blue lapis semiprecious gemstone. The beautiful light blue color is fresh - just like a western big sky breezy day.

These earrings feature square copper washers, ~1 inch corner to corner,  that I textured with western motifs and hammer marks. The copper pieces hang like charms from a copper wire wrapped oval denim lapis stone, 10 x 13mm. A 4mm denim lapis saucer dangles beneath the oval stone, just in front of the copper charms

Wired in solid copper wire and presented on my handmade copper ear wires. These earrings measure 2 3/8 inches long. Each earring weighs 3.9 grams
