Turquoise Butterfly Earrings with Handcrafted Copper Silver and Brass Flower Charms

A spectacular pair of turquoise butterfly earrings remind us to stay in tune with Nature. Where would we be without our pollinating insect friends? We wouldn’t be here, at least not for long! 

Featuring 18x16mm carved butterflies of Chinese turquoise and handcrafted copper, sterling silver, and brass flower charms. The butterflies are mostly brown and green with some veins and spots of brighter turquoise. They have a sweet shape beautifully carved details that make these very pretty, graceful focals even without bright turquoise coloration. I find them all the more interesting and believable butterflies with their mottled coloration.

I’ve used 4mm faceted rounds of yellow opal (color enhanced) to accent the butterflies, and spectacular blue Hubei turquoise 5x6mm faceted rondelles above the handmade mixed metal charms. The stones and charms are wired in sterling silver and the ear hooks are handcrafted by me in 20 gauge sterling silver.

These unique dangle earrings with carved turquoise butterflies and mixed metal charms measure 2 9/16 inches long from the top of the ear wires.
