Tan fossil coral stone earrings are a pretty mint green and brown combination. Hand wired in darkened copper, these natural stone earrings feature polished light brown fossil coral coin-shaped stones and matte-finish minty green African turquoise jasper accents. The dark brown copper wire wrap and handcrafted ear hooks blend harmoniously with the stones' colors. 

I love stones that invite and reward a closer look. The fossil coral stones do just that. At first glance, they are just "pretty beige stones" but when viewed up close, you can see a subtle stippled pattern in parchment white. The patterns reveal the prehistoric coral skeletons where tiny corals once lived,  "agatized" into stone over millenia. Fossil coral often has bold geometric patterns, but these understated examples are just as fascinating. I chose the African turquoise jasper for it's fresh aqua to mint green color that creates a beachy, tropical vibe with the sandy beige stones. So ancient fossilized coral lives again in these beachy but primitive earrings.
