Sky Blue Quartz Earrings, Stone Rectangle Bar Earrings, Drop Earrings with Raw Edge Quartz Stones

Pale blue, and mottled with white and grey, blue quartz looks like a summer sky when a storm is brewing. The stones are subtle in color but so fascinating that they impress in their unembellished drop setting. These handcrafted earrings are all about the stones. If you love finding the most unusual beach pebble, the most colorful fall leaf, or that great antique find on a picking Saturday, then you will adore these one-of-a-kind natural stone earrings.

Blue Quartz long bar earrings:

  • Blue quartz rectangles cut by a lapidary artisan
  • Stone rectangle measures 1.25 to 1.5 inches long by 5/16 inch wide or 32 x 8 mm
  • Dark antique patina sterling silver ear wires have a shepherd's crook shape; the stones nestle in the crook.
  • Ear wires have a square cross section to fit securely
  • Overall length at the longest point is 1.875 inches or 48 mm

These fabulous sky blue stone earrings speak a whisper. The stones captivate. I love how they are cut with the angled raw edge at the bottom and a slight rounded top making them more interesting than a plain rectangle or bar. The pale blue color is aqua-leaning sky blue and full of billowing white and grey splotches. The stone pair doesn't quite match in pattern making them even more intriguing to study and a delight to know they adorn your ears. I chose to simply place them in the crook of the ear wires where they hang without fuss when worn. They'll face forward (on most ear lobe piercings) to show off the stones' subtle beauty.

These lovely works of Nature's art can be dressed up or down as you please. The minimalist setting and pale color will complement darker color wardrobe choices of any shade. Does the sky not hang over any landscape?
