Serpentine and Lapis Earrings, Rustic Boho Earrings with Blue and Green Natural Stones

Beaded gemstone earrings are an earthy, verdant, rustic pair that celebrates spring colors and the uniqueness and style of the woman who chooses them. Perhaps lapis is your favorite of the semiprecious stones. Try this uncommon color combination of lapis blue and serpentine's yellow green. These earrings would be lovely accenting a bright white shirt and jeans or a navy blue linen sundress.

Lapis Nugget Earrings with Serpentine and Copper

  • Large hand cut nuggets of natural, undyed lapis lazuli with a waxed finish
  • Green serpentine natural stone beads have a semigloss shine
  • Pure copper beads have a rustic ridged surface detail
  • Constructed using solid copper wire for the ornament and the ear hooks
  • Earrings measure 2 inches long and about 7/16 inch wide (51 x 12mm)

Chunky Boho earrings feature ultramarine blue lapis stones accented with rustic copper beads and spring green serpentine natural stones. Copper wire twines in and around the stones adding it's own orangey rose color to the bold stone pairing.

I chose lapis hand cut nuggets in a rich dark navy blue color. The stones are angular and kind of kite shaped.I selected a pair with drill holes enough off center that they would hang like drops when I wire wrapped them. A long piece of copper wire captures the lapis stone drop, the serpentine saucer, and the large copper bicone. The top is a neat loop and coil for hanging. My handcrafted copper ear hooks have a dark brown patina. Their graceful shape balances the chunky stone and copper ornament.

These earrings would complement my long layered necklace with a similar color scheme (listed separately).
