A pair of simple stone drop earrings with dreamy white selenite with cat's eye flash. These selenite beads are so luminous and cut so well to properly display the stone’s beautiful cat’s eye flash, they didn’t need much embellishment. With beautiful natural stones like this, less is more. More attention, that is, on the stones.
I used 10mm selenite round beads and simply wrapped them in darkened solid copper wire with a “knot/floret” at the bottom and a stout wrapped loop at the top. The contrast of the copper with the white stone is striking, and when the stones move the play of light makes them even more special. The ear wires are my handmade elegant marquise or pixie shape in solid copper with dark antiqued patina.
