This purple, gray, blue, and black gemstone stretch bracelet was inspired by the wonder of the night sky. You know, when it is dark, but not really black, and you can see diffuse starry clouds and the bright glint of the moon.
I used amethyst and iolite for purple and purplish blue, sodalite and dumortierite for rich dark blue-black. Black agate, onyx, and lava rock add different intensities of black color, texture, and depth. And finally, labradorite adds a beautiful warm gray color and bright flashes of blue and blue green.
Most of the stones average around 8mm (about 5/16 inch) but there are a few closer to 10mm (3/8 inch). There are gemstone rounds, rondelles, faceted nuggets, faceted rounds, saucers, and nuggets. Two sterling silver beads also grace the strand.
Strung on latex-free stretch cord, there is no clasp to fuss with. This bracelet is a size 7. It weighs 19.6 grams.
