Red and Green Natural Stone Necklace, Bronze Wire Wrap Necklace For Holidays

This red and green natural stone necklace, wire wrapped in bronze, was inspired by the Christmas carol, The Holly and the Ivy. Blood stone triangular shaped beads are strung with moss agate, red jasper, and gold plated pewter beads forming a bib front for the necklace. The triangles evoke holly or ivy leaves and the red jasper the holly berries. There's even the suggestion of a bow at the front, like a holly wreath might bear. The back of the necklace is a wire wrapped station chain  with moss agate and red jasper links as well as all bronze links.

The earthy red jasper, and pine forest greens of the bloodstone and moss agate are lovely in the bronze setting with gold tone accents. Bronze is a beautiful gold hue with just a hint of rosiness.
