Pink Stone Copper Heart Small Dangle Earrings

These adorable small dangle earrings feature plump faceted rhodonite rondelles on my handcrafted copper wire heart headpins.  These sweet little copper earrings combine pink stones and copper hearts because I love pink hearts! Pink Hearts or pink and hearts take me back to old fashioned valentines, and to childhood birthday cakes decorated with pink icing and candles. My birthday missed being on Valentine’s Day but that didn’t stop the heart-shaped fun associated with it.

I enjoy playing with wire and stones, and it often truly feels like “play”. I try with my simpler pieces to imbue a “made in the field” kind of character. Like making a daisy chain only with wire and beads. Too bad the pebbles we collect at the shore, on a walk, or in the backyard don’t come ready-drilled! With these little earrings the sense of play comes through with the whimsical heart shapes formed from copper. The earwires are handmade by me in 20 g copper wire.
