Spring has finally sprung in the high country around my home in Colorado. Seeing colors in the landscape and bringing that color and feeling into my work is something I love to do. These earrings do that with carved Picture jasper leaves and peridot gemstone chips. That glowing spot of peridot's yellow-green says "springtime in Colorado” to me. The jasper brings texture with the carved lines and the river stone polish that’s more like tree trunks and grass than leaves but it still works to paint a spring scene in my eye. Perhaps you see it too.
These natural stone earrings are handcrafted in solid copper and hang on handmade copper ear wires.
