Oxidized Sterling Silver Hoop Earrings With Blue Gemstones, Kyanite and Lapis Lazuli Earrings Dark Silver

With these wire wrapped earrings I played with shades of blue and gray using lapis and kyanite gemstones and oxidized patina sterling silver. The blue kyanite pebbles display a mysterious sheen  - like napped fabric where one direction appears lighter in color than the view from the other direction. The color is a medium blue with a grayish cast to it. Beautiful ultramarine and darker midnight blue lapis rounds accent the kyanite. The blue gemstones are neatly wrapped to a large droplet shaped hoop at an angle creating interesting shapes in the negative space.

All metal is sterling silver including the handmade ear wires.

• Each earring weighs 2.7 grams, a little more than a dime coin (2.3 g)
