Labradorite Cloud Pendant Necklace in Copper, Rainbow Flash Labradorite and Crystal Quartz Rustic Necklace

Crafted by hand in copper, this labradorite cloud pendant necklace has all the moodiness of a summer storm. I love the golden rainbow sheen of the gray labradorite stone. It suggests the wonderful glow of sunlight breaking through rain clouds. You just know you’re going to see a rainbow, and there it is inside the stone.

This copper tab-set pendant features a 20 x 40mm thunderhead cloud-shaped labradorite cabochon with rainbow fire of gold, orange, teal, and blue. The pure copper setting was designed, cut from copper sheet, smoothed, then textured to be a unique frame for the lovely stone. The front of the setting is textured with random spirals. I also hung a fringe from it with 7x9mm crystal clear quartz raindrops. The back of the copper is textured with clouds and larger whirlwind type spirals. I soldered a handmade ring to the back to look like another billowing layer of cloud and wired on some 3mm labradorite gems and a tiny copper bead to accent the asymmetry of the nature-inspired piece.

The pendant hangs on solid copper chain, closing with a handcrafted copper hook and eye. The chain is 19 inches long. The pendant drops 3 inches (to the longest raindrop).
