Herkimer Diamond Quartz Linked Dangle Earrings

I tried to capture the thrill of twinkling stars in these linear dangle earrings. Crafted in dark, oxidized sterling silver the linked dangles feature truly stellar Herkimer diamonds (quartz). Each naturally-formed crystal has many facets and two terminations (or points). The bottom of the dangles are really spectacular, large, top-drilled Herkimer diamonds. The smaller herkimer crystals are drilled through the middle, so the points are from side-to-side a little like the rays of stars.

The quartz crystals are wired in 24 and 26 gauge sterling silver. The sparkling star-like dangles hang from my handmade sterling silver ear wires in 20 gauge wire.

Each earring weighs 1.5 grams
