Here’s a necklace with a handmade copper pendant and gemstone charms that is full of cozy cottagecore and woodland meadow feelings.
I made a copper pendant in a rounded triangle shape about 24mm wide and 32mm long. I used stamps, hammers, and punches to create a sweet nature scene of a hare meditating in a meadow. Depicted is a peaceful sitting hare gazing slightly upward among foliage, flowers, mushrooms, and dandelion wisps. A butterfly flutters by. The copper pendant hangs with a cluster of different green gemstones. They express fresh spring green, herbs and sage, meadow grasses, and mature garden green. I used 6 x 8mm faceted pale green chalcedony teardrops, 4 x 6mm faceted green aventurine teardrops, 5 x 8mm faceted jadeite rice, and ~6 x 10mm green kyanite sticks.
I hung the focal and 4 gemstone charms on a solid copper cable chain with a handcrafted copper hook and eye closure. The necklace is 16 inches long, perfect for layering. Pendant drops about 1 3/8 inches.
