A knotted cord necklace inspired by ocean shores is a celebration of unique and genuine natural stones. Knotted necklaces have a look from easy-going to formal and lovely drape that is a pleasure to wear.
I used a mix of natural gemstones in dusky blue, sea green, aqua blue, sandy beige brown and black, foamy white, and sun-kissed sand are strung and knotted together in this over-the-head 24 inch necklace. I’ve created a subtle undulating feel - like the rhythm of the sea - by stringing blocks of larger, then smaller stones while the overall pattern is random. Designed to complement the pale yellow rectangular dendritic opal stone pendant, this necklace features ocean jasper, fancy jasper, moss agate, blue calcite, aquamarine, amazonite, Botswana and Montana agates, and dumortierite. Pure copper bicones and African white opal beads decorate the ends of the cord.

About 24 inches long, this necklace has no clasp. It is hand knotted on nylon jewelry cord. The opal pendant drops 3 ¼ inches to the bottom of the string ends. 80 grams.
