These dainty celestial earrings feature my hand stamped textured star charms tiny faceted sapphire, lapis, and aquamarine gems. I used sterling silver stars about 14mm in size and textured them with spirals and dots to evoke distant galaxies and multitudes of stars. The spiral is a primitive human symbol and I like the thought that today we gaze at the heavens as our ancestors did. The lightweight charms dangle beneath a stack of 3mm faceted round gems strung on sterling silver wire with a dark, oxidized patina. From the top of the ornament you'll find purple/pink sapphire, lapis, blue sapphire, and aquamarine. A similar size amethyst gem decorates the sspiral ear wires handmade in sterling silver.
