Alas, this year (2026) we desperately need the rain required for rainbow spotting, It has been a year since one has graced our sky.
Handwrought copper spiral dangle earrings are decorated with a 6 color gemstone rainbow. The curves of gems and copper arcing this way and that suggest the shape of a rainbow in the sky.
I used ~ 4mm natural gemstone beads: faceted mookaite, smooth red aventurine, faceted yellow opal, and smooth moss agate, kyanite, and amethyst. The gems are wired to my handcrafted solid copper elongated spirals using fine gauge copper wire. The ear wires are handmade in solid copper as well.
