Dance around and around in the wonderland of a December snowfall with these long, dramatic hand forged copper earrings. The spiraling design and wintery white and blue stones suggest these as a wardrobe staple during the winter holidays. Of course the fresh colors and lovely gemstones will want to get outside on a pretty summer's day, too.

I used solid copper wire, 16 gauge, and formed two asymmetrical s-links for each earring. Organic hammered texture, flattening, and an antiqued patina add to a rich and earthy vibe. I joined the copper spirals with jump rings to give the earring ornament a slinky drape and motion. To honor winter and make these dangles even more special, a moonstone briolette decorated with a tiny lapis saucer dances at the bottom with two kyanite gemstones.
