Copper Earrings with Southwest Inspired Hand Stamped Texture, Western Boho Earrings in Copper with Jasper and Turquoise

Here's a pair of copper earrings with hand stamped texture inspired by southwestern art and weavings. Part of my "Out West" collection, these western boho earrings with red poppy jasper and turquoise, feature hand stamped copper rectangles in a saddle blanket or woven shawl design. Burnished copper with the look of rich dark tooled leather is accented with brilliant blue Nacozari turquoise wafers and earthy poppy jasper drums. The copper rectangles and the fat cylindrical stones create an overall  blocky geometry for the copper and stone dangles. These unique natural stone earrings will add a western touch to your wardrobe. No cowboy hat required, but if you've got one? Then these stunning copper earrings are the perfect finishing touch.

These earthy earrings with their southwest vibes are 2.25-inches long from the top of the handcrafted copper ear hooks. The textured copper serape drops are about 0.4 inch wide.

Entirely handcrafted in my Colorado high country home studio, these earrings are made with copper sheet metal, copper wire, and natural stones. Nacozari turquoise was mined in Mexico and is becoming increasingly rare since the mine has closed. It is prized for its true blue turquoise color. The blood red and black poppy jasper and amazing blue turquoise are naturally complemented in dark antiqued copper. You might find these colors - brick, brown, black, and blue -  in a weaving or shawl. They are certainly prevalent in southwestern jewelry and I love how the jasper evokes the colorful canyon country of the Colorado plateau. Looking through a sandstone arch you see a spot of turquoise sky. Scene set. Now put yourself there wearing these handcrafted earrings infused with the spirit of the west..
