Boho Purple Fan Earrings, Chevron Amethyst Earrings, Copper Wire Work Earrings with Amethyst and Rainbow Moonstone

Graceful Boho purple fan earrings are handcrafted in copper and feature chevron amethyst, amethyst, and rainbow moonstone gemstones. I created these earrings by first making the triangle or fan-shaped components from copper wire. I shaped a gentle flare at the opening and hammered the wire ends to a paddle shape. To this frame I wired three tiers of purple and white gemstones and a little fringe of copper and gemstones to dangle at the bottom. 

2 1/4 inches long from the top of the ear wires to the longest dangle. About 1 1/4 inch wide at the widest point.

MATERIALS

• 3mm faceted round rainbow moonstones
• 3mm faceted round amethyst
• 4mm tube heishi chevron amethyst
• Copper beads
• Copper wire
• Handmade copper ear wires

In beads as small as I used here, the chevron amethyst don't really show the banded pattern the stone is named for, rather the stones are an assortment of purple and white beads. I used creamy white to dark purple chevron amethyst and, along with white rainbow moonstone and dark amethyst faceted gems, arranged the stones in purple ombre pattern. Bright copper bead accents add warm orange tones that are pleasing with the dark copper and the purple natural stones.
