This artisan necklace features a blue stone crescent moon pendant, handcrafted in silver and a beaded neck piece in blue, black. and gray gemstones and sterling silver accents.
I crafted the crescent moon pendant using argentium silver wire. Like many of my stone settings, the back of this piece is designed to be as special as the front. A little secret that is just for you. I made the backside of the prong setting in the shape of a whimsical silver moon. It's lovely contrasting against the dark blue sodalite. You might not care should your pendant flip over and reveal this secret to someone else.
The neckpiece is a beaded strand of beautiful and sparkling faceted gemstones. Most of the stones are 3-3.5mm faceted rounds of sodalite, black spinel, and labradorite. In addition, you’ll find 2x3mm faceted lapis lazuli saucers, 2mm hematite seed beads, 2.2mm sterling silver rounds, and 6mm sodalite stars. Strung in a staggered, kind of random pattern the necklace evokes the ever-evolving sights of the night sky. You will notice different delights every time you wear it.
