Simple beaded drop earrings display faceted cubes of Lemurian Aquatine calcite. These blue calcite stones are a beautiful, moody ocean blue color with white, tan, and rusty brown bands. I strung a single 8mm cube on my handmade torch-balled sterling silver headpins, topping it with a sterling silver plain bead cap and a 5-6mm nugget/chip of pyrite with crystals all over its surface. The calcite and pyrite ornament is hung on handcrafted sterling silver ear wires. With the silver's dark, antiqued patina, the blue stones take on a stormy, or at least moody vibe.
These simple earrings will provide an abundance of stone-gazing pleasure.
