Agate Bird Dangle Earrings in Organic, Rustic Art Nouveau Style

Cheerful yellow crazy lace agate birds sit atop a twisted branch in these long dangle earrings in copper. Inspired by the nature themes and organic line and flow elements of Art Nouveau jewelry, I made these woodland earrings with a more rustic aesthetic rather than attempting to replicate the fine jewelry of the period.

These rustic, Art Nouveau-inspired bird earrings feature carved agate bird beads, handmade vine/branch components, Tiny green gemstone beads, and my handmade spiral post earrings. The copper vines meander, curve, and twist. Little loops along the length create hanging spots for the ~3mm green gemstones that dangle and flutter like leaves.

• 3.5mm faceted round zoisite
• 3mm faceted round malachite
• 3mm faceted round peridot
• Solid copper wire, various thicknesses
• Handmade copper posts
• Latex-free silicone rubber ear nuts
